The Californian singer-songwriter Jaclyn Lovey spoke to us about her brand new single, "Boring." You can check out what Lovey had to share about the process behind the track, below:

"My song Boring was made pretty much in one day. I wrote it the same morning of a day, I had a recording session. And, when I showed it to my friend Tim, he was immediately down to get it stared. The song itself is about how when you're the one to end a relationship, you can get painted as the bad guy. But in reality there are often a lot of reasons before the final straw of deciding it's no longer salvageable. It's kind of about getting that last word to declare that it wasn't what you wanted, but more so that your hand was forced. It's one of those songs that came really effortlessly and so was really rewarding to hear it come to life.”
