This song has been on so many journeys. It started as a Monako Davis demo that would we took to Jon O’Brien‘s Music Box studios in Fullerton, CA. There we added so many overdubs: piano, Rhodes, some drums, bass, and acoustic guitar. It was under the title “Years” - It ended up staying unreleased. In 2018-2019 we revisited it and made it a duet with Mary at our loft in Boyle Heights. Then Spencer and I revisited it again 2022 and fell in love with the track all over again. Summerland Dahlias has another track coming soon with The TVC as well, so stay posted for more music.
